Paula Banks, Owner

Paula Banks, LSW, CMC is the owner of Compass Concierge and Companions and is a certified Geriatric Care Manager and Aging Life Care Specialist has over 30 years of clinical experience working with seniors, their families, and caregivers. Paula has worked in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and home care agencies. She is also the owner of a private care management business, (Paula Banks Consulting).

 

Paula is on the Development Committee at Maine Behavioral Health and was named a Fellow of the Maine Gerontological Society of Maine in 2011. She is also the past Chair of The Board of Trustees at 75 State Street, an independent and assisted living community in Portland, Maine. Paula's areas of expertise include elder care, post-acute care planning, probate court/expert witness in guardianship cases, and mental health advocacy. She is passionate about providing Mainers and their families with the highest quality, personalized care and peace of mind.​

Isabell Kubeck

Isabell Kubeck's love of history and personal stories has fueled her passion for working with and spending time with elders. In her career, Isabell has had the pleasure of working with seniors in a variety of roles, including as a caregiver, registered medication administrator, human resource professional, and administrator of a memory care facility. 

 

Initially joining Compass Concierge and Companions as a caregiver, Isabell has since assumed and thrived in a multi-faceted role that includes caregiver training, scheduling, and assisting management in daily operations.

 

She enjoys improving her skills as an advocate for clients and caregivers and she’s excited to continue this work, because she believes there is so much to learn!

Jessica Bergstrom

Jessica’s passion for helping people has always been her driving force, and continues to be on the forefront of her position with Compass. Her greatest source of fulfillment and purpose is found in supporting others. She believes there is always a space for learning and growing, regardless of how challenging a situation may be. Jessica has worked in a variety of professional settings, equipping her with the experience and strengths that allow her to support her team members, clients, and community.

 

While obtaining her M.A. in Communication, she participated in community service and regional research, as well as instructing courses on Interpersonal Communication. She then transitioned into the role of clinic and intake coordination for a rehab facility, where her appreciation for elders grew. Jessica looks forward to continuing the immeasurable privilege of serving elders and their loved ones alongside a team of compassionate and talented caregivers.
