WHO WE ARE

Compass Concierge and Companions provides sophisticated, comprehensive and outstanding concierge and companion services to our clientele throughout Southern Maine. Founded by a local senior care expert and social worker, Compass's priority is hyper-personalized service based on the unique needs of our valued clients.

All of our Concierge Assistants and Companions are compassionate professionals who are thoroughly vetted and trained. From attending doctor’s appointments with our clients to preparing delicious and healthy meals, our Companions provide socialization, assistance and, if the need arises, exceptional personal care using our guiding principles of dignity, discretion and respect.

We provide non-medical services that include (but are not limited to): Activities of Daily Life (dressing, bathing, hygiene, toileting), Instrumental Activities of Daily Life (laundry, meal preparation), Medication reminders, Transfer/Ambulation/Mobility, Transportation to Doctor's appointments, monitoring for safety, companionship.  Our staff is trained to anticipate and recognize other needs and supplement our clients' lives in any way that is necessary.

We are proud to pay our staff a livable wage! That is how we retain our dedicated, experienced committed staff who truly love caring for our clients. We also provide them with monthly ongoing education and we have a robust recognition and reward system. This enables us to recruit the best in the business.  

We have a strict and extensive Covid19 protocol in place.  Our staff are well trained and we instruct on all PPE that is necessary for their use (each client situation is different but this is assessed prior to starting services.)  They fill out daily health charts and pay close attention to symptoms in themselves and in our clients!  And, all of our staff who were interested, have recently received both rounds of the Covid-19 Vaccine!

Our services are not limited to seniors. We work with adults, over age 18, who have physical and/or mental challenges. We are grateful to be able to use our over 30 years of experience working with seniors and those with chronic illnesses to lead their best life possible.
